Mark is one of the directors of City Reparo, a multidisciplinary consultancy working with the social, public and private sectors focused on achieving city transformation. We are a social enterprise comprising practitioners with international experience in research, social science and academic work that underpins our method. The team provides consultancy in urban design, architecture and the social use of urban space with a focus on making cites that are equitable, connected and inclusive.

 

In his role as director of Forum for Alternative Belfast CIC, Mark has collaborated widely to produce detailed city restitching plans for Belfast that continue to influence the city’s development. He is currently part of a government advisory panel on a large roads infrastructure project.

 

He has lectured widely at urban conferences throughout Europe on the work and research of the Forum and contributed to the British Pavilion at the 2012 Venice Architecture Biennale.
